What Happens After You Approve a Pet Canvas Proof?

After you approve a Paw & Glory pet canvas proof, you are confirming that the custom artwork is ready to move into production. The important work therefore happens before approval: checking likeness, crop, markings and any personalisation while edits are still being requested.

This page replaces an older description of a supposed “sketch-to-canvas” internal process. Paw & Glory’s current customer-facing workflow does not need invented stages to explain it.

Step 1: you provide the pet photo

The custom portrait starts with the photograph you supply. A clear image gives the artwork more reliable information about the pet’s face, markings and expression.

Step 2: the custom artwork is prepared

Paw & Glory’s current canvas product describes the portrait as hand-illustrated from your photo. Internal artistic steps can vary and are not something this article needs to pretend to document.

Step 3: you receive an artwork proof

The proof lets you review the portrait before production. Check:

• overall likeness;
• face shape and expression;
• eyes and ears;
• distinctive markings;
• crop and composition;
• names or wording supported by the selected design.

If a meaningful detail needs changing, request the edit before approval.

Step 4: approval confirms the artwork

Approval tells Paw & Glory that the artwork is ready for production. This is why it is worth reviewing the proof at normal viewing size as well as close-up.

Step 5: the approved artwork moves into canvas production

The verified current General custom pet canvas is printed on stretched canvas. Available size and framing options are shown on the live product page, including a floating frame option where offered.
