Choose a clear, well-lit photo

A bright phone photo is absolutely fine. The clearer the face, eyes and markings, the more detail our artists can capture.

Examples of clear pet photos that work well and difficult pet photos to avoid

Works best

Your pet is photographed at eye level.
The face, full head and both ears are visible.
The image is sharp, bright and taken reasonably close.
Fur colours and markings are natural, without filters.
The photo angle roughly matches the portrait style.

Please avoid

Blurred, pixelated or distant photos.
Cropped ears, whiskers or the top of the head.
Strong shadows hiding the eyes or markings.
Heavy filters, screenshots, stickers or editing.
Very awkward lying-down or overhead angles.

Photos That Work Best

We've put together a few simple guidelines to help you get the best portrait possible.

Photos taken at your pet's eye level work best.
Make sure their head is fully in frame — no cropped ears.
No filters please — natural photos give the best results.
No professional camera needed — a clear phone photo works perfectly.

Please note: if you request a photo or costume change after your proof has been sent, our artist will need to start from scratch. A small fee applies to cover their time:

Change of costume — $6 per pet
Change of photo — $6 per pet

Please read before approving your proof

When you receive your artwork proof, please review it carefully. Once approved, your order moves straight to print automatically. Occasionally our artists may flip your pet's head to better suit the costume layout — please let us know when approving if you'd prefer this not to happen.

Some requests — such as turning your pet's head or closing their mouth — may require a new photo to achieve the best result.

A note on sizing and crop: the products below may show slightly less of the costume due to canvas edge wrapping or differing size ratios. Some poster sizes may also include a white mount or a small white border.

Screen vs. print colours: your proof may appear slightly brighter on screen than the finished print. This is normal — screens are backlit, printed artwork is not. Canvases in particular can appear slightly richer or deeper in colour once printed. If your pet has a darker coat, we recommend choosing a lighter background to help them stand out beautifully.

On rare occasions, canvas corners may appear very slightly lighter where the canvas has been stretched over the frame — this is a natural part of the printing process and not a defect.

Shipping & Delivery

Artwork Preview

Most artwork previews are ready within 2–3 business days. During especially busy periods, please allow 3–5 business days.

If we need a clearer photo or further information before beginning, the preview time starts once we have everything required to create your artwork.

Priority Artwork Options

First In Line: your artwork preview is prioritized and delivered within 2 business days.
Next Day Preview: your artwork preview is prioritized and delivered within 24 hours.

Priority artwork options speed up the creation of your proof only. They do not shorten printing or shipping times unless the product option specifically includes express shipping.

Proof Approval

We’ll email you when your artwork is ready to review. You can approve it or request revisions before anything is printed.

Please review your proof carefully. Once approved, your order moves into production automatically and can no longer be changed or canceled.

If we don’t receive a response within 72 hours of sending your proof and reminders, the artwork may be automatically approved so your order is not held indefinitely.

Printing and Production

Once your artwork is approved, printing and production usually take 3–5 business days.

Orders containing more than one product may arrive separately because items can be produced by different specialist print partners.

Estimated Shipping Time After Production

United States: approximately 8–14 business days.
Canada and Australia: approximately 8–14 business days.
United Kingdom: approximately 2–7 business days.
Europe: approximately 5–8 business days.
Rest of the world: approximately 10–15 business days.

These are estimated shipping times rather than guaranteed arrival dates. Carrier delays, customs checks, severe weather and peak-season volumes may occasionally add extra time.

Tracking Your Order

Tracking is sent by email once it becomes available. Please allow a little time for the carrier’s tracking page to update after dispatch.

Every portrait is created especially for you, and we want you to be genuinely happy with it before anything goes to print.

Changing or Canceling Your Order

You can change or cancel your order within 1 hour of placing it for a full refund.

After that, our artists may already have started working. If artwork creation has begun, cancellation is provided as store credit minus a small fee for the artist’s time.

Cancellation and change requests must be emailed to support@pawandglory.com. Requests sent through social media, WhatsApp or website chat may not be seen within the cancellation window.

Revisions

We include unlimited small edits to your original photo and costume until you’re happy.

Your first major change, such as using a new photo or choosing a different costume, is included. Further major changes may carry a small artist fee because they require the artwork to be created again.

After Approval

Once you approve your proof, or it is automatically approved after the stated review period, it moves into production. From that point, it can no longer be changed or canceled.

Because personalized artwork is made specifically for you and cannot be resold, it is final sale once approved.

Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, tell us within 48 hours of delivery and we’ll arrange a replacement.
