Personalised Pet Blanket Size Guide: Medium or Large?

The right personalised pet blanket size depends mainly on how you plan to use it. Choose medium for a compact throw

The medium size is useful when you want a personalised blanket that is easy to fold, keep on an armchair or use as a lap throw. It also suits smaller rooms where a large graphic blanket might dominate the furniture rather enthusiastically.

If the design contains one pet with a clear head-and-shoulders composition, medium can still give the artwork plenty of impact.

Choose large when the artwork needs more room

Large is the better option for a bed, a wide sofa or artwork containing several pets. More surface area gives multiple faces and costume details room to breathe, especially if you want the design to remain visible while the blanket is draped rather than laid completely flat.

Think about the crop as well as the dimensions

Size alone does not decide whether the design will look good. A close headshot reads differently from a full-body portrait, and a four-pet layout needs more space than a single face. If your reference photo is very wide or includes a lot of background, the artwork may need a tighter crop.

Measure the furniture before ordering

A tape measure is considerably more useful than imagining what “medium” looks like while staring at a phone. Measure the sofa, chair or bed where the blanket is likely to live, then compare those dimensions with the product size.

• Armchair or lap use: medium is usually the easier fit.
• Sofa styling: either can work, depending on how much coverage you want.
• Bed styling: large usually has more visual presence.
• Multiple pets: large gives a busier composition more room.
