Photos That Work Best
We create your artwork from the photo you upload, so choosing a clear image makes an enormous difference to the finished portrait.
- Use a clear, sharp photo with your petās face fully visible.
- Photos taken at your petās eye level usually work best.
- Make sure the full head and ears are inside the frame.
- Natural daylight is ideal, without heavy shadows or bright glare.
- A clear phone photo is perfectly suitable. No professional camera or ceremonial studio lighting required.
- Avoid screenshots, filters, blurry images and photos taken from a long distance.
Our team reviews your uploaded photos before the artwork is created. If the chosen image isnāt suitable, weāll contact you for another.

Changes and Revisions
We include unlimited small edits to your original photo and chosen costume until youāre happy with your portrait.
Your first major change, such as using a completely different photo or changing the costume, is included. Further major changes may carry a small artist fee because the artwork has to be created again from the beginning.
Some requests may require a different source photo. For example, we generally canāt realistically turn your petās head, close an open mouth or create facial details that arenāt visible in the original image. We can usually help with red-eye, eye colour and similar finishing touches.
Please Check Your Proof Carefully
Occasionally, our artists may flip your petās head so it fits the costume and composition more naturally. Please tell us during the proof stage if you would prefer the original direction.
Before approving, check your petās appearance, spelling, background, crop, size and any requested details. Once approved, the artwork moves into production and can no longer be changed.
Colour and Cropping
Your proof may appear slightly brighter on a screen because screens are backlit and printed artwork is not. Printed colours can therefore appear slightly deeper or softer, particularly on canvas.
If your pet has a dark coat, a lighter background will usually help their features stand out more clearly.
Canvas edge wrapping, frame proportions and different product shapes may mean that slightly more or less of the costume is visible on the finished product. Some poster formats may also include a small white border.
Artwork Preview
Most artwork previews are ready within 2ā3 working days. During especially busy periods, please allow 3ā5 working days.
If we need a clearer photo or further information before beginning, the preview time starts once we have everything required to create your artwork.
Priority Artwork Options
-
First In Line: your artwork preview is prioritised and delivered within 2 working days.
-
Next Day Preview: your artwork preview is prioritised and delivered within 24 hours.
Priority artwork options speed up the creation of your proof only. They do not shorten printing or delivery times unless the product option specifically includes express delivery.
Proof Approval
Weāll email you when your artwork is ready to review. You can approve it or request revisions before anything is printed.
Please review your proof carefully. Once approved, your order moves into production automatically and can no longer be changed or cancelled.
If we donāt receive a response within 72 hours of sending your proof and reminders, the artwork may be automatically approved so your order is not held indefinitely.
Printing and Production
Once your artwork is approved, printing and production usually take 3ā5 working days.
Orders containing more than one product may arrive separately because items can be produced by different specialist print partners.
Estimated Delivery After Production
-
United Kingdom: approximately 2ā7 working days.
-
Europe: approximately 5ā8 working days.
-
USA, Canada and Australia: approximately 8ā14 working days.

These are estimated delivery times rather than guaranteed arrival dates. Carrier delays, customs checks, severe weather and peak-season volumes may occasionally add extra time.

Choosing Wall Art
Wall art usually looks smaller once it is hanging above a sofa, bed, fireplace or gallery wall, so going slightly larger often creates the best impact.
Clothing Sizes
For T-shirts, hoodies and sweatshirts, lay a similar garment flat and measure that rather than measuring the person. It is usually the easiest way to choose the right fit.
