Buying for a dog owner is easier when you stop shopping for generic dog things and start with the dog they actually know. A favourite photograph can turn a portrait or practical home gift into something specific to the recipient rather than another item covered in paw prints.
A custom dog portrait can capture familiar markings and expression from a clear reference photo. Choose the artwork style with the recipient's home in mind, not simply the loudest design on the page.

A framed pet portrait can feel ready to display, while a custom pet canvas gives a different wall-art finish. Consider available wall space, decor and the size that will actually suit the room.
Choose a clear image where the face, markings and expression are visible. A sharp phone photograph is often enough. Avoid tiny screenshots, strong filters and images where important features are hidden if a better photograph exists.
If wall art is not their thing, try personalised pet drinkware, a custom pet blanket, a personalised pet cushion or a custom pet phone case.
If you already have access to a photograph the owner loves, the gift can stay a surprise. If you do not, asking for a better image is usually wiser than commissioning artwork from the one blurry photo saved from a group chat in 2019.
If several dogs are equally important, gather a clear reference image for each. They do not necessarily need to have been photographed together, but each animal should be recognisable in its own source image.
Check the current product page for available formats, personalisation options and production information. Custom products change over time, whereas old blog promises have an unfortunate habit of living forever.

My son has recently lost his dog and his girlfriend lost hers previously and I was wondering about getting a portrait of them together, is it possible?
